2018 Audi A5 vs INFINITI Q60

Which car would you rather drive around West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach: the 2018 Audi A5 or the 2018 INFINITI Q60? Oh, you're not sure? Well, in that case, we encourage you to read this article. Our team here at Audi West Palm Beach wrote this comparison for drivers just like you.

Fuel Economy Ratings

Right off the bat, the Audi A5 blows the 2018 INFINITI Q60 out of the water in terms of efficiency. With the A5's 2.0L TFSI® engine, you'll enjoy up to 24 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway.1 In other words, you can finally enjoy some financial peace of mind while you're at the pump.

But, that's not all the engine can do. It can also generate 252 horsepower at 5,000 to 6,000 RPM, plus 273 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 to 4,500 RPM. This allows you to reach a top track speed of 130 MPH and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 5.7 seconds. In other words, it's as sporty as it is efficient.

On the other hand, the INFINITI Q60 doesn't do so well when it comes to fuel economy. Although its 3.0L V6 twin-turbo engine offers impeccable horsepower and torque ratings, it's severely lacking, otherwise. It gives you merely 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway-quite the drag!

Smart Technology Features

The 2018 A5's cabin is a high-tech hub, especially when you compare it to the 2018 Q60's. They even call it the available Audi virtual cockpit-this 12.3-inch digital information cluster does as much as possible.

It puts anything and everything you need to know right at your fingertips. We're talking about stuff like available navigation information that's compatible with audio and phone, including screen options like Google Earth™ and Google Street View™. Here's a brief look at some of the other A5 technologies...

  • Available Audi head-up display
  • Advanced keyless start, stop, and entry
  • Audi pre sense® basic and Audi pre sense® city
  • Audi smartphone interface (Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™)
  • Bang & Olufsen® sound system (19 speakers, 755 watts of power, and a 16-channel amplifier)

While the 2018 Q60 also features a lot of in-cabin technology, we simply don't find it as appealing as the Audi's options. For example, the Q60's smartphone-connection interface, INFINITI InTouch™, isn't nearly as streamlined as what's mentioned above. At the end of the day, the A5's different safety, navigation, and entertainment systems win out. We think they're better suited for a Floridian such as yourself.
