Q7 Maintenance Appointments 

For the 2017 Audi Q7, there are two types of maintenance appointments: the standard appointment and the major appointment. These two require different timelines and services and together will ensure your vehicle stays running smoothly for years. 

Standard Maintenance Appointment 

This occurs within 5,000 miles or the first year of ownership. Afterward, you should get this service every 10,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first. This appointment includes the following services: 

      
• Braking System Inspection: We'll look for damages, leaks, and proper mounting of all parts. We'll also check the brake fluid level and quality and thickness of the brake pads and rotors.
          
• Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement: We'll give your vehicle an oil change, replace the oil filter, and check the engine compartment for leaks.
          
• Tire Inspection: We'll look at your vehicle's tires and make sure they're still in fine condition. We'll also check the tire pressure, reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and let you know if we see any issues.
          
• Fluid Refill: We'll add any fluids necessary to the windshield wiper fluid reservoir or the AdBlue fluid reservoir if necessary, so you know everything is running smoothly. 

While you're here, we'll also make sure all your lights are working, your wiper blades are in good shape, and your service reminder indicator display has been reset. 

Major Maintenance Appointment 

This occurs at either the second year or 15,000 miles, whichever comes first. Afterward, this service should occur every 20,000 miles or once every two years, whichever comes first. This appointment includes many of the services in the standard appointment, but there'll be a much more in-depth vehicle inspection. We'll check the battery, exhaust system, transmission, and safety belts. We'll also take the vehicle for a road test to ensure the vehicle is performing as it should.
