Trim Levels and Options

There are three different trim levels available for the new Audi A3. At the entry level, the Premium trim offers a solid suite of features. They include a turbocharged 4-cylinder 2.0L engine that delivers 184 horsepower and 222 lb-ft of torque on front-wheel-drive models and 228 horsepower with 258 lb-ft on AWD versions. You'll get leather upholstery, 9-speaker sound, and standard Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®.

At the midrange Premium Plus level, you'll get features like keyless entry and ignition, cross-traffic alerts, parking sensors, and a range of exterior touches. The top-level Prestige trim gives you features like power-folding mirrors, a high-end Virtual Cockpit, and premium Bang & Olufsen® audio.

Safety Technology

The new A3 is also a very safe vehicle. Even at the base level, you'll get automatic emergency braking with front crash warning. Blind-Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alerts are available. Automatic High Beams, Lane-Departure Warnings, and Adaptive Cruise Control are available at higher levels, and as add-on options at lower levels. GPS navigation will ensure that you always get where you're going.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it top Good ratings in small and moderate overlap front-, side-, and rear-crash tests, as well as front-crash protection. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the A3 a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating with outstanding ratings in front-, side-, and rollover-crash protection.
