2018 Audi Q3 vs Infiniti QX30

In choosing a luxury crossover for your West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach lifestyle, you should have tons of comfort and adventure capabilities at your disposal. Fortunately, the 2018 Audi Q3 and the Infiniti QX30 strive for both.

Which tends to offer the more robust package, however? In this Q3 versus QX30 comparison, the Audi West Palm Beach team intends to find out.

2018 Audi Q3 vs Infiniti QX30 Design

In order for either of these vehicles to set themselves apart out there on the road, they need to show up with a strong design.

In this respect, the Audi Q3 really sets itself apart. It of course includes the iconic Singleframe® grille and S line® sculpted exterior that have come to define the Audi lineup. Each adds a touch of aerodynamics to your car.

The Q3 also comes standard with aluminum roof rails. These are a big help if you're heading out of town for an adventure and need to carry any gear with you.

While the Infiniti QX30 nearly matches the Q3 in terms of its body sculpting and swooping, aerodynamic shape, it lacks some of the more utilitarian features, such as the standard roof rails. Thus, it may not be as well-suited for the tougher trips.

Cargo Capability

Vehicles such as these were undoubtedly made for adventure. However, one seems far more suited for the major excursions.

The Infiniti QX30 is a vehicle that's big on interior amenities and comforts, adding in numerous technologies. Once again, however, it seems to skimp on some of the more practical adventure-ready features.

For example, if you're heading out on a road trip you're going to need added cargo room. But at most, the QX30 only offers 34 cubic feet.

The Audi Q3, on the other hand, comes with a split folding rear seatback. This allows you to easily reconfigure the back row to make up to 50.3 cubic feet of cargo room.

In the Q3, you'll also have the benefit of adding in an available power tailgate. This way, you can pop open the cargo area even when your hands are completely full.

Q3 vs QX30: Interior Comfort

In addition to interior cargo space, you'll have several more amenities in each of these crossovers.

Just take the Audi Q3, for example. It comes standard with a heated, 12-way power adjustable driver's seat, obviously prioritizing your comfort.

In contrast, the QX30 comes with an 8-way manually adjustable seat without heating. Drivers can upgrade for added creature comforts, but it will cost them.

This seems to be a running theme between the vehicles. While Audi Q3 adds in tons of standard amenities, like the ambient LED lighting or SD card reader, the Infiniti QX30 requires upgrades for the same level of comfort.

Try One for Yourself

The Infiniti QX30 is certainly a sharp-looking crossover. However, when it comes down to utilitarian features and standard amenities, it can't seem to keep pace with the 2018 Audi Q3.
