The top-of-the-line Audi S8 luxury sedan is one hot car...no ifs, ands or buts about it. It's hot in, terms of performance. It's smokin'-hot, as far as looks are concerned. In fact, it's so irresistible, that it's the most jacked/hot car out there.

A recent report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reveals the Audi S8 represents the most frequently stolen all-new passenger vehicle. Though, Braman Audi should note, that while the report has just been released, data analyzed is from 2009, and car thefts overall seem to be on the decline. Still... 8.81 thefts per 1,000 vehicles to roll off the production line is not something to ignore!

Heightening the appeal of the Audi S8, for the 2012 model year, is 70 more units of horsepower compared to its predecessor - and improved fuel consumption.  To further enhance the car's already overt sex appeal, Audi is even adding a fresh grill, new front apron with a lip spoiler, revamped rear bumper, quad tailpipes, 20-inch alloy wheels, new sport seats and steering wheel, and new trim level for drivers seeking an ultra-sporty look.

If you think you're the only one who can't wait to get their hands on it. Think again. And, we're not referring to a neighbor who lives in the same zip code; rather, skilled criminals, looking for their next major heist.

Of course, Audi knows the sometimes devastating lengths people will go to, to get their hands on an S8 and have engineered the super sports car with a standard anti-theft system to deter break-ins. There are, however, a few other precautions, Braman Audi, serving the greater West Palm Beach area would recommend.

- Always lock your doors - even in your own driveway.
- At night, park in well-lit, high-traffic areas.
- If you have a garage at home, use it.
- If you're traveling through higher-risk areas, consider investing in the CLUB or other car security devices.

Such practices might seem simple. But, they're highly effective. If you're interested in more ways to protect your Audi S8 or other new Audi, drop us a line. And, be sure to keep an eye out for the refreshed 2012 Audi S8, available early next year.
