At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Audi unveiled 4 exhilarating cars. In particular, we are talking about clean diesel models of the A8, A7, A6 and Q5. This adding these TDI clean diesel models to the lineup, the luxury car dealership will, for the first time in the history of Audi, feature an entire variety of TDI clean diesel cars in the United States. Being paired with a revitalized Q7, the lineup will total 5 clean diesel cars.
The biggest benefits to adding the A8 TDI, A7 TDI, A6 TDI and Q5 TDI are that all models deliver up to 30% higher fuel efficiency and 30% lower CO emissions when compared to their respective gas-drinking siblings.
This obviously translates to long-term savings of time and money. In addition, it gives owners and leasees that wonderful feeling of driving a vehicle that is not only fun, but also eco-friendly.
"Owners of Audi TDI engines have helped save over 4-million gallons of gasoline, or the equivalent of more than 240,000 barrels of foreign oil, since the introduction of Audi TDI to the U.S. in 2009," explains Scott Keogh, President, Audi of America. "And, TDI technology delivers better fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance."1
The forthcoming 2014 Audi A8 TDI will be available during the spring of 2013. The 2014 Audi A7, A6 and Q5 will all be available beginning in fall of 2013. As for the revitalized 2012 Audi Q7 TDI, the beloved model has been available at our new Audi showroom, since earlier this autumn.
