The numbers,
which never lie, indicate more and more people are driving Audi cars...not
just in the U.S., but worldwide. Specifically, the company has
achieved a 28-percent increase in sales just in November of 2011.
If you're thinking that's a lot, you're absolutely
right. Translate a 28-percent sales increase into units and you have a total of
111,400 cars sold to customers around the globe - in just one month! This
brings annual sales to 1,193,100 to date.
In the U.S., there was over a 15-percent leap in sales, and an a;most 18-percent increase in Europe. Most impressive of all is, however, China - hands down. There, Audi sales skyrocketed by nearly 70 percent!
Speaking on the nature of Audi's laudable growth in Europe, Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member, Board of Management, Marketing & Sales, AUDI AG says, "We are growing against the trend in Western Europe. This has resulted in our highest market share ever. We will sell more than 250,000 cars in Germany this year for the first time since 2008."1
