German luxury brands, both vying for the top spot in the German luxury auto
market currently held by the Tri-Pointed Star.
Besides, the Tri-Pointed Star, we're talking about Audi and Beamer. Yup, these three automakers are really at war and hoping to win the top position of the global luxury auto market by the end of the decade. Every month is a different battle.
For April, the German automaker that emerged victorious is none-other than Audi. The victory was won in large part by the help of non-traditional silver bullets. By that we mean, vigorous sales in three primary markets worldwide: China (a no brainer), the US (also to be expected) and Russia (the 'wildcard'). Drivers in these three markets can't seem to get enough of illustrious vehicles such as the 2012 Audi A3, A4, A5, A6, a7, A8, Q5, Q7, R8 and TT.
Braman Audi can't say we blame them and hope this trend continues. No offense to Beamer and Mercedes-Benz; but wouldn't it be awesome to see Audi take the crown? If all goes according to plan; they'll continue to keep Beamer in a stronghold and ultimately achieve their goal by 2020, the latest.
