Here in West Palm Beach one of the most popular new Audi models that rolls out of our dealership is the Audi TT. That is why were very interested to learn that this speedy model is going to receive a stylish makeover for the 2014 model year.
This will be the third incarnation of the TT and in that vein, designers will be overhauling the design to give it a unique new look and set it apart from the rest of the current Audi lineup as well as other luxury car competition.
To make this happen, designers and engineers will be rebuilding the TT using the new MQB platform which will make the frame much lighter. The whole front end will get a refresh and new eye-catching headlamps with a bold, stylish grille will make future TT owners the envy of their neighborhoods. The lighter frame also means a jump in fuel economy. The TT already gets a solid 22 mpg city, 31 mpg highway. So we only expect these figures to improve in the new edition.
With such a great engine under the hood already, our favorite German automaker saw no need to make a change. The new TT will retain the same great 2.0-liter turbocharged DOHC engine, which will generate the same 211 horsepower.
